Confined space is any area or environment not designed for continuous human occupancy, which has limited entrance and exit means, where existing ventilation is insufficient to remove contaminants or where there may be deficiency or oxygen enrichment and / or other risks arising from geometry of the site or of several factors.
To present in a theoretical and practical way to staff who interact directly or indirectly in confined spaces in diverse functions, the necessary concepts to recognize, evaluate and monitor the existing risks in this activity, to properly use the necessary equipment, to develop the appropriate techniques and to take the required control measures, being aware of their responsibilities regarding the safety of the operations and the people involved in them, and training them in a personalized way on all the required aspects.
Purpose: To present in a theoretical and practical way to the staff who interact directly in the confined spaces the necessary concepts about the existing risks in this activity and the control measures required, the functioning of the equipment used, and their rights and duties, enabling them in a personalized way to act with due safety in the performance of their duties.
Training Content: In accordance with the provisions of sub-item 184.108.40.206 of NR-33 - MTPS.
Duration: 16 hours
