Created in 1988 by ABIQUIM (Brazilian Chemical Industry Association) and operated by SUATRANS, the 24-hour Emergency Center PRÓ-QUÍMICA is recognized worldwide for providing public utility service in first on-site assistance.
The Toll Free Number provides a team of experts, working 24 hours / day and 365 days / year supporting the Fire Department, Highway Patrol, Civil Defense and emergency response teams, in cases involving hazardous chemicals, by advising on transportation and handling procedures .
PRÓ-QUÍMICA also offers a free and exclusive app, with UN recommendations and updated ANTT standards, guided by the ABIQUIM Emergency Guide.
Focused on social responsibility, SUATRANS develops, together with the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), an organization focused on banning the use of chemical weapons, emergency response training in situations involving chemical weapons. This is an excellent opportunity to add knowledge from both parties involved.
